Happy Birthday, Beau!

I love road trips with my boo and one that takes us to Sedona to celebrate Mr. Flahart's birthday . . .
Well, sign me up!

Renee' found this amazing place called the Butterfly Garden,
just outside of Sedona, a bit past Slide Rock.
Mark and I had a small cabin to ourselves and
three other couples stayed in a bigger cabin right next to us.
It was perfect weather and perfect company.
We couldn't have asked for a better weekend away.

He always makes a silly face!

In the pines - sunshine and a cool breeze.

Fashion was not a priority for the boys this weekend.
Every morning, hanging from a hook outside on our patio, was a breakfast basket. Yum and so stinkin' cute!

The girls made their way to L'Auberge while the boys golfed.
Mimosas and omlettes. Mmmmm.

Whit and Mo trying to save the puppy "trapped" in a cabin.
It was more like breaking and entering.
I love these chicks. Somehow craziness ensues when we get together.
At the beginning of our night - still sweet and cute.

And so it begins . . .

I don't even know what happened after this!
I do know an alarm was activated and some weird posing happened outside on the sign for the resort.
That's all I'm going to say about that!

Bohemian Bliss Soiree

On our way to the event, we ran into some fireman at AJ's and my mom finagled a fire truck ride!

The kids get their first face painting . . . on their arms!

Domestic Bliss is one of our favorite stores ever! They had a fabulous party on Friday evening and a fun event on Saturday morning. So many fantastic vendors and home tours of two renovated 1920's homes. Each home had it's own style, very different from each other. Please enjoy the pictures of the houses and our shopping - we sure did!

First House . . .

This is an amazing bathroom!

Bounce Jungle, Baby!

How much do I love my friends, especially my buddy Candace! I met Candace ages ago, when we worked together at SW Dental. She and my other buddy took me over to Glovsky's office with them and we worked together until she had Miss Hannah. I am so thankful that we have stayed close even though we don't work together (I'm at a completely different office now) and she is with her girls at home. Our kids play really well together, they are all different ages, but it doesn't seem to matter. Candace, Hannah and Molly have all the BEST places scoped out, so it's so much fun to see where we will be going to next! This past Friday we went to Bounce Jungle. It's a place that has two huge rooms of tons of bouncy things; slides, mazes, bounce house. Fun! The kids had tons of fun of course and here are the pics to prove it. Thanks Candace, I love being your friend!

Rainy Day=Cancelled Photo Shoot=Yummy Breakfast!

Today was my photo shoot with the Pied Piper, but low and behold, it rains! We were all up and continuing to get ready for the shoot, hoping it would stop, but it didn't. And considering we were going to be shooting outside, and everything is wet and mucky, we decided to reschedule. :( I'm a little disappointed just because I have been waiting so long for this, but I want it to go well, and not be wet! So our family had a free morning with daddy, (that usually only happens once a week), so we took the opportunity to visit a new favorite restaurant of ours, Liberty Market. This owner is the same as Joe's Farm Grill, Joe's Real BBQ and he was the one who started the Coffee Plantation. This man is a great restaurateur! All his restaurants have the same set up, grab a menu, order from the counter and sit. They will bring everything to you. Good food and great ambiance! Especially at Liberty Market!

Liberty Market opened in Gilbert in 1935. There have been only three owners since then. Joe Johnson, the owner now, took it over a couple of years ago and turned it into a very hip, edgy, interesting place to shop and eat. With chains of restaurant surrounding us, it's so refreshing to have a place to go that is UNIQUE. Mark and I even felt like we were back in NYC for a minute. The kids had already eaten breakfast; Karsten was full, but Ella was up for another round of eggs. I got this enormous cinnamon roll, and Mark and I split granola with yogurt and honey. That was so amazing! The granola was fresh and the honey was sweet, yummy! I loved it so much I took a picture to share the yumminess! I had to explain to Mark I am now a photo journalist. I am in charge of reporting all new YORI stories.

Sad Guy . . .

Getting happier . . .

Joy!

Hope you all have a great day, and a Happy Hoppy Easter!
